Sans Nom is a creative studio with a deep-root- ed focus on product+spatial design and a flair for supporting companies creating contemporary storytellings.

With its work it takes a radical approach and aims to discover hidden everyday details and to bring their poetry into objects of use and spaces to live. The intent is to create designs that reflect this peculiar research in a reasoned and nuanced way. An exploration and redefinition of shapes characterised by a strong conceptual approach, balanced with meticulous research for effortless functionality.

Founders choose not to sign with their names to underline the importance of their designs to be Sans Nom: speaking for themselves in a pure and straightforward form.

Studio Salaris was founded in 2005, the brain- child of Alessandra Salaris’ creative energy, and has garnered success as a creative agency spe- cializing in styling, art direction, interior design and product design for furnishing sector clients. Alessandra Salaris’s aesthetic sensibilities and 20-plus years of design-world experience have contributed to creating a distinctive Studio Salaris style. Flowing forms, sophisticated use of colour, experimentation with future trends and extensive knowledge of the history of design and architecture come together in surprising design projects that are never banal, distinguished by a uniquely recognisable design language.

The studio, based in Milan’s city centre, collaborates with Italian and international clients, curating art direction and styling for stagings, fairs and photographic sets and creating furnishings and accessories.

Alongside the styling projects the studio has be- come known for on the Italian scene, Studio Salaris also designs interiors for residential spaces and products and accessories for the furnishings sector, both self-produced and for design firms. Walls and floors, finishes and paints, décor objects and textiles, self-produced items and pieces designed for firms in collaboration with the studio Sans Nom, Studio Salaris’ products speak their distinctive poetic language in forms and colours.
